1 ½ lbs. lean ground beef
½ cup chopped onion
½ cup chopped green pepper
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
6 oz. egg noodles, cooked and drained
1 (15-oz.) can chili beans
1 (8-oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon chili powder
½ teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
Sliced ripe olives (optional)
Cook ground beef, onion and green pepper until beef is browned; drain.
In 3-quart ceramic casserole, combine beef mixture, cheese, noodles, beans, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper.
Place dish on turntable.
Cook according to your Advantium model's cooking settings or until bubbly.
Garnish with sliced ripe olives, if desired
For a spicier version of this recipe, add 1 seeded and chopped jalape$o pepper. Always wear rubber gloves when chopping hot peppers to avoid skin irritation.
