Ginger-Maple Glazed Pork Chop
Ingredients:
1 8oz. center-cut Pork chop
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup chipotle sauce
3-inch piece of fresh ginger, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 sprig fresh Thyme
2 tablespoons olive oil
Pinch of salt
Pinch of ground black pepper
Method:
Rinse pork chop and pat dry. In a medium bowl, place the pork chop and pour maple syrup and chipotle sauce. Add ginger, garlic, thyme, salt and pepper. Mix well. Wrap tightly and marinate for 6 hours or (for best results) overnight. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Heat a grill pan over high heat, brush olive oil. Place the pork chop into the hot grill pan and cook until there are grill marks on the pork chop, approximately 2 minutes per side. Place the pork chop into a skillet and pour over the remaining marinade. Cook the pork chop in the oven for 15- 30 minutes until cooked through.
