Wendy's Chili
Ingredients:
2 pounds beef stew meat of round steak cut in pieces
1 large onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 (15 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
1 small can tomato paste
2 cups water
1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans, drained
1 (15 ounce) can red or kidney beans, drained
1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained
1 (15 ounce) can butter beans (large limas), drained
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 - 2 teaspoons hot sauce
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 - 2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
Spaghetti
Method:
Brown the beef with the onion and garlic.
Add remaining ingredients and let simmer for several hours.
Serve over cooked and drained spaghetti.
