7 Half-Pint Jars
7 cups sugar
3 cups cranberry juice
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 cup port wine
2 -3-ounce packages liquid fruit pectin
Combine sugar, cranberry juice, cinnamon and cloves in a large saucepan.
Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Boil for 1 minute while stirring.
Remove mixture from heat and add port wine and fruit pectin.
Skim off foam with a spoon.
Pour immediately into how sterilized half-pint jars and seal.
Process in a boiling water bath for 5 minutes or cool and store in refrigerator.
