Bourbon Balls Recipe
They're as simple to make as they are good to eat.

Ingredients
By Measure
1/2# Pound Cake
1/4 Cup Sugar
3 Tbs Corn Syrup
1 Tbs Cocoa
1/4 Cup Kentucky Bourbon
2 Cups Dark Chocolate or Chocolate Chips
1/4 Cup Sugar
3 Tbs Corn Syrup
1 Tbs Cocoa
1/4 Cup Kentucky Bourbon
2 Cups Dark Chocolate or Chocolate Chips
Preparation
- In a mixer with a paddle attachment combine the pound cake, sugar, corn syrup, cocoa and Bourbon and mix well.
- Using a small scoop, I like a #40, scoop and roll into balls.
- Melt the chocolate and dip the Bourbon balls in to coat well.
- Chill to set up chocolate and serve.

You can also roll the Bourbon balls in various things after dipping in chocolate.
- o Toasted and chopped pecans
- o Mini chocolate chips
- o Toasted coconut
- o Chocolate sprinkles
- o Cocoa
- o Powdered sugar
- I also have put a maraschino cherry inside the Bourbon ball before dipping...tasty.
- Makes about 12 Bourbon balls.
