My AIGF Favorites

A Year In Review

2011 was the first full year of allingoodfood.com so we thought we'd take a moment to look back on some of our favorite recipes we've put on the site since we started. Here are my favorites and next week Joe will have his.

  1. Chocolate Gravy. This one is so sentimental. Every time I make it I am taken back to visits as a kid to my grandma's hometown in Arkansas. Staying with my great aunt Clydie, love that name, no indoor plumbing and chocolate gravy over biscuits every morning.
  2. Bread Pudding. I have made about 1000 bread puddings since coming to GE 5 years ago and I still pull a little piece off of every one.
  3. Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies. This one is for my wife. She doesn't like peanut butter cookies but she loves these.
  4. Vietnamese Chicken Salad. I love this any time of year but especially summer. Light. Refreshing. Delicious.
  5. Lobster Rolls. Takes me to the coast of Maine when Joe and I spent a few days with our buddy Ken Tripp in Portland and the surrounding area. Fishing for lobsters. Eating. Learning about Maine sea life. Eating. Eating. And Eating.
