Hard to Mess-up Cheese Ball
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 medium onion, finely diced
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (more if desired)
1/4 cup mayonnaise
Combine cheese, onion, pecans and cayenne pepper in a medium size bowl.
Add mayonnaise and shape into a ball.
Chill for about 8 hours or over night.
Before serving pour enough strawberry preserves to coat the cheese ball well and serve with crackers.
