Chocolate Chip Bars
Ingredients:
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 (6-oz.) pkg. semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Powdered sugar
Method:
In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla and almond extract; stir until well blended. Add chocolate chips, walnuts, flour, baking powder and salt; blend well. Pour batter into a greased 2-quart oblong or 8-inch square baking dish. Cook according to your Advantium model’s cooking settings or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into bars.
