It's a lemon pie with a crust on top.
Ingredients
By Measure
2 nine inch pie shells2 cups sugar
6 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 lemon rind
6 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup milk
2 eggs
6 tablespoons melted butter
Preparation
- Mix the filling.
- Place 1 pie shell in pie plate or tart pan.
- Pour the filling into the pie shell.
- Top with the second pie dough.
- Brush with milk then sprinkle with sugar.
- Vent dough.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
