Classic Brownies
Rich, chewy and chocolaty. These brownies are easy to whip up and disappear fast!
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup butter, melted
¾ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup cocoa
½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Method:
In a small bowl, beat sugar, eggs, salt and vanilla with an electric mixer at medium speed until light.
Add butter; beat until thoroughly blended.
Combine flour and cocoa; add to sugar mixture, beating at low speed until blended.
Stir in nuts.
Spread batter evenly in a greased 2-quart oblong or 8-inch square baking dish.
Cook according to your Advantium model's cooking settings or until done.
Cool on wire rack.
Cut into squares.

Chef's Notes:
To cut bar cookies neatly, try the following procedure. While the bars are still warm, use a sharp knife to lightly mark where to cut. When the bars have cooled, use the marks as a guide to cut the bars evenly and cleanly.
